her jaw clenched for a moment as she stood before him, her arms crossed over her chest, hands balled into fists. he wasn’t someone any of them could trust — why she felt the need to point this out to him, she wasn’t sure. he knew that. and the most she could do, right now, besides trying to slug him for fun, was to let the others, her friends, just know to be careful.
