she was a little surprised as she listened to him, biting down on the corner of her lip. she wasn’t sure if confiding in him was the best idea, but he had a point. she couldn’t deny that. and as he pulled her toward him, she let her guard down in that moment and closed her eyes, resting her head on his chest as she took a deep breath, breathing him in. it was quiet, calming, and she liked it.
